How do I file an RTI application?
Verified Citizen Answer & Procedure
For central government departments: apply at rtionline.gov.in with a ₹10 fee (online payment). For Tamil Nadu state departments: submit a written application to the Public Information Officer (PIO) of the department with ₹10 postal order or fee. Response must come within 30 days.
