A transformer failure at 7 AM on August 15 — Independence Day — left 240 households in Ganapathy, Coimbatore without power just as families were preparing for the day's celebrations. Residents expected to wait the whole day. Instead, a TANGEDCO crew of four engineers arrived within 45 minutes and restored power by 10 AM — just in time for the flag hoisting at the local school. The crew worked through the morning heat without a break. No fanfare. Just good work. 📍 Area: Ganapathy, near 7th Street Junction, Coimbatore. 🙌 TANGEDCO engineer on duty: Team from Ganapathy Subdivision. Not all government workers cut corners. Some show up. Let's recognise them when they do.
