Who is Eligible? (Statutory Criteria)

• All female passengers (working women, students, homemakers). • Schoolgirls in uniform or carrying valid student ID. • Transgender persons holding TG welfare ID. • Senior citizens (aged 60+) on producing age proof / travel pass.

How to Apply (Step-by-Step)

1. Board any ordinary state government town bus (marked with pink branding or zero-fare signage). 2. Collect the free zero-fare ticket from conductor for passenger audit records. 3. For electric bus routes in Chennai, Coimbatore, and Madurai, track timings on the Chennai Bus / MTC live tracking app.
