Namakkal TWAD Water Supply Suspended: Tiruchengode and Rasipuram Face 2-Day Shortage

TWAD Board Namakkal has announced suspension of water supply to Tiruchengode and Rasipuram municipalities today September 15, 2026 for emergency repair of the pumping main at Namakkal headworks. Affected municipalities: - Tiruchengode: All 30 wards — full suspension - Rasipuram: Wards 1–18 — full suspension, Wards 19–24 — partial supply from alternate source - Namakkal town: Wards 5–12 — reduced supply at low pressure Duration: Supply suspended from midnight September 14. Expected resumption: September 17 morning after pump replacement and pipeline pressure testing.
