TVK's 100 Days: Budget Passed, TN-VETTRI Portal Launches
As the Vijay-led TVK government completes 100 days, Tamil Nadu's maiden coalition budget, a new civic portal, and tenure reforms mark early governance steps.
Why this matters to Tamil Nadu
For citizens, 100-day milestones are a practical time to assess whether announced schemes are moving toward delivery. TN-VETTRI's ₹6,000-crore-per-year water supply and solid waste allocation, transparent tender reforms, and new social welfare schemes directly impact daily civic life — from cleaner streets to women's financial inclusion through the Madhippumiku Magalir Thittam scheme.
